This Privacy Policy describes how Career Bloom LLC (“Career Bloom,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, and protects your personal information when you visit or use our website, purchase our programs, or interact with our services (collectively, the “Services”).

1) What Information We Collect

We collect personal information in three ways: (A) information you provide, (B) information collected automatically, and (C) information from third-party platforms you use to interact with us.

A) Information You Provide to Us

Depending on how you interact with our Services, you may provide:

  • Contact information: name, email address

  • Purchase and account information: login credentials for our Portal (Kajabi), purchase history, program enrollment status

  • Intake and onboarding information: information submitted through forms (including a mailing address collected via a Google intake form)

  • Community and coaching information: content you post in our community, comments, submissions, messages, and communications with us

  • Scheduling information: information you submit through Calendly to book calls (e.g., name, email, availability, and any notes you choose to include)

Do not submit sensitive information. We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal information (such as medical or mental health information). However, you may choose to share sensitive details in messages, intake forms, coaching calls, or the community. We request that you do not post sensitive medical information in the community.

B) Information Collected Automatically

When you visit our website, we may automatically collect:

  • Device and usage data: IP address, browser type, device identifiers, operating system, referring URLs, pages viewed, time spent, links clicked, and other website activity

  • Approximate location data: inferred from IP address (generally city/state level)

This information helps us operate our website, improve performance, and measure marketing effectiveness.

C) Information From Third Parties (Service Providers and Tools)

We receive information through tools used to run the Services, including:

  • Kajabi (website hosting, course portal, community, email communications, and payments processing workflow)

  • Zoom (live calls and recordings that may be made available as replays)

  • Calendly (scheduling and booking)

  • Google (Google Analytics; Google Forms intake form)

  • Meta (Meta/Facebook Pixel)

  • LinkedIn (LinkedIn Insight Tag / LinkedIn ads pixel)

These providers may collect information directly via cookies/pixels and share it with us in aggregated or event-based form (e.g., page visits, conversions, campaign performance).

2) How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Provide and administer Services (deliver programs, provide access to the Portal/community, process purchases, and provide customer support)

  • Communicate with you (transactional emails, program updates, service announcements, support responses)

  • Deliver coaching and community experiences (including reviewing submissions, providing feedback, and facilitating coaching calls)

  • Run and improve our website and Services (analytics, troubleshooting, security, preventing fraud)

  • Marketing and advertising (email marketing via Kajabi; measurement and optimization of ads via Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, and LinkedIn pixel)

  • Compliance and legal obligations (accounting, recordkeeping, responding to lawful requests)

3) Legal Bases for Processing (If Applicable)

Depending on your location, we process your information under one or more legal bases, including:

  • Contract: to deliver programs you purchase and provide Services you request

  • Legitimate interests: to operate and improve our business, secure our Services, and market our offerings

  • Consent: where required (e.g., certain cookies/advertising technologies in some regions)

  • Legal obligations: to comply with applicable laws and enforce our agreements

4) How We Share Your Information

We do not sell personal information. We may share personal information in the following circumstances:

A) With Service Providers

We share information with vendors who help us operate the Services, such as:

  • Kajabi (hosting, portal, community, email delivery, payments workflow)

  • Zoom (video calls and recordings/replays)

  • Calendly (scheduling)

  • Google Analytics (website analytics)

  • Meta Pixel / LinkedIn pixel (advertising measurement and optimization)

These providers process information on our behalf and are permitted to use it only as necessary to provide their services to us, subject to their own policies and applicable law.

B) Advertising and “Sharing” for Cross-Context Behavioral Advertising

Under certain privacy laws (including California law), using advertising pixels may be considered “sharing” of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising (even if no money is exchanged).

We do not sell personal information, but we may share certain identifiers and internet activity information (e.g., cookies/pixels) with advertising partners such as Meta and LinkedIn to measure and improve advertising performance and to deliver more relevant ads.

C) Business Transfers

If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of assets, information may be disclosed as part of that transaction.

D) Legal and Safety

We may disclose information if required by law or if we believe disclosure is necessary to:

  • comply with legal process

  • protect our rights, safety, or property

  • prevent fraud or security issues

5) Cookies, Pixels, and Tracking Technologies

We use cookies, pixels, and similar technologies for:

  • Essential operations (website functionality)

  • Analytics (Google Analytics)

  • Advertising measurement and optimization (Meta Pixel, LinkedIn pixel)

Your Choices

You can control cookies through:

  • your browser settings (block/delete cookies)

  • any cookie banner/consent tool implemented on our website (if applicable)

If you disable cookies, some features may not function properly.

6) Email Communications

If you opt in to marketing emails, you may unsubscribe at any time using the unsubscribe link in our emails. Even if you unsubscribe from marketing, we may still send transactional or service-related emails (e.g., purchase confirmations, program updates, password resets, customer support).

7) Zoom Calls, Recordings, and Replays

We may record group coaching calls and sessions conducted via Zoom. If recorded, those recordings may be made available to program participants as replays, consistent with the program description.

If you do not want to appear in a replay, your options may include keeping your camera off and not speaking (where feasible). If you have concerns, contact us at theresa@careerbloomcoaching.com.

8) Community Posts and User-Generated Content

If you post in our community (hosted on Kajabi), your content may be visible to other members of that community.

Important: Please do not post sensitive medical information, highly confidential information, or third-party personal information in the community.

9) Data Retention

We retain personal information only as long as necessary for legitimate business purposes, including:

  • maintaining your account and delivering Services

  • complying with legal, tax, and accounting obligations

  • resolving disputes and enforcing agreements

  • maintaining records of consent and communications

If you request deletion, we may retain certain information where required or permitted by law (e.g., transaction records).

10) Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect your personal information. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11) Children’s Privacy

Our Services are not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from minors.

12) Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights regarding your personal information, such as the right to:

  • access the personal information we hold about you

  • request correction of inaccurate information

Do Not Sell / Do Not Share

We do not sell personal information. We may share information for cross-context behavioral advertising via pixels. To opt out, contact us at theresa@careerbloomcoaching.com and include “California Opt-Out” in the subject line. You may also adjust cookie preferences (where available) and browser controls.

14) International Visitors

Our Services are operated from the United States. If you access our Services from outside the United States, you understand that your information may be processed and stored in the U.S. and other jurisdictions where our service providers operate.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last Updated” date indicates when it was last revised. If we make material changes, we may provide notice through our website or via email.
